Founded by Stuart Challis, TWZL (Twizel) events is inspired by his connection to his birth town Twizel, New Zealand.
We have provided Conference services for:

Stuart Challis background
Over 27 years of experience in the venues and events industry across Aotearoa.
My foundation starting with a Bachelor of Business Studies, in Sport Management & Coaching from Massey University Auckland. My career started in marketing work with the North Harbour NBL Basketball and co-ordinating events at the North Shore Events Centre.
I spent several years in Whangārei, managing Forum North and large community events, including the Endless Summer Festival and Christmas in the Park event for the District Council.
Then shifting to the South Island, I worked for Vbase (Christchurch Convention Centre & Town Hall, Lancaster Park, Wolfbrook Arena) as a Hosting Manager until the 2011 Earthquake.
Settling in the Waikato, I became the Events Manager for Wintec (Waikato Institute of Technology). This role included managing the Wintec Venues event spaces and leading the event management of Wintec Graduation and Orientation activities.
My journey has provided me with variety of experience in the events industry. The creation of TWZL events in 2019, has provided me my own space to implement my experience, continuing to create and support amazing kaupapa.
